Union Home Minister to meet families of victims of drug trade violence in Punjab

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced on 18 October 2026 that Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will meet families of people killed for opposing 'chitta' (synthetic drug) traders in Punjab. The meetings will take place on 20 October 2026 in Mansa, Sangrur, and Gurdaspur.
