The service
PublicFeed is an independent publication that explains official public updates from Indian public bodies and links each one to its original. It is not a government website and is not affiliated with any government body. By using the website, the API at https://publicfeed.in/api/v1, the MCP server at https://publicfeed.in/mcp or the data, you agree to these terms.
Accuracy and advice
Summaries, key points, dates and tags are produced and checked by software, and nothing has yet been reviewed by a person. They can be incomplete or wrong. They are not legal, financial or professional advice. The official original is the authority: check it before you rely on anything. Coverage is partial; a missing update does not mean nothing was issued.
The service and data are provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a purpose. To the extent the law allows, PublicFeed is not liable for losses arising from their use, and any liability for a paid plan is limited to the fees paid for the three months before the claim.
Data licence
"Data" means the records served by the API, the MCP server and exports, and the structured parts of the website. Subject to these terms, PublicFeed grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to use the data as follows.
- Free plan. Use in your own apps, research, journalism and teaching, including commercial products, within the free plan's limits.
- Developer and Pro plans. Use in your products and internal tools, including stored copies of the records you received, while the plan is active. Pro also covers use inside your organisation's internal tools by its staff. Copies made during an active plan may be kept for archival and audit after it ends.
- Attribution. Where you show the data to others, show a visible credit to PublicFeed with a link to the record's page or to publicfeed.in, and keep each record's official source link.
- Not allowed without a separate data licence: selling, sublicensing or publishing the data in bulk as a dataset or feed of its own; using it to build a competing aggregation service; or redistributing exports.
- Do not misrepresent. Do not present summaries as the official text, as legal advice, or as endorsed by a government body or by PublicFeed.
For redistribution, AI training sets or archives, ask for a data licence.
Official sources
The original documents belong to the bodies that published them and remain under their own reuse policies, which commonly allow reproduction free of charge if the material is reproduced accurately, is not used in a derogatory or misleading way, and the source is acknowledged. Some portals ask for permission before material is reproduced. PublicFeed links to originals rather than redistributing them; if you republish an original document, follow its publisher's policy. Tender and alert records keep their portals' and agencies' own fields and wording.
Acceptable use
Use the API rather than scraping pages in bulk. Do not try to get around rate limits or plan limits, share or publish a key, probe or disrupt the service, or use the data to harass, profile or target individuals. We may block traffic or suspend a key that breaks these rules; for a paid plan we will tell you why.
Paid plans
Paid plans are sold through Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record, takes payment, adds applicable taxes and issues receipts. Plans renew each month until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. If the service did not work for you, write within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it. Prices and plan limits can change for future periods with at least 30 days' notice to the email used at checkout. We may change or discontinue a dataset or endpoint; if a paid feature you rely on is withdrawn, we will refund the unused part of the period.
Contact and grievances
For corrections, complaints about content, takedown requests, data-licence questions or any grievance, write to raniendu.work@gmail.com or use the correction form. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Privacy is covered in the privacy notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them; the version above changes when we do, and material changes for paid plans are emailed in advance.
