Kasuti embroidery workshop to be held in Nagpur from October 26

The Ministry of Culture announced on 23 October 2026 that the South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) in Nagpur will host a five-day workshop on Kasuti embroidery. From 26 to 30 October 2026, participants will learn traditional Karnataka embroidery stitches and their application to textiles.

Ministry of Home Affairs launches joint Civil Defence training with Indian Army

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced on 23 October 2026 a pilot initiative to build a Civil Defence network through joint training with the Indian Army. Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment hosts Shilp Samagam Mela 2026 in Guwahati

Government pushes for Panchayat-led management of rural water supply systems

India hosts Agrivoltaics World Conference 2026 and announces new solar programme

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare announced on 21 October 2026 the inauguration of the three-day AgriVoltaics World Conference 2026. NBA distributes Rs 1.19 crore to State and UT Biodiversity Boards
