TISS and UP Police launch training programme for master trainers

The Ministry of Education announced on 14 October 2026 that the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and the Police Training Directorate, Uttar Pradesh, have collaborated on a Skill-Based Capacity Building Programme for Master Trainers under the Saksham Policing initiative. The five-day programme, running from 13 to 17 October 2026, aims to improve the professional skills of police trainers to make policing more citizen-centric and sensitive.
