NLMC sells 150 RINL land plots for ₹366.33 crore in first e-auction phase

The Ministry of Finance announced on 13 October 2026 that the National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) sold 150 land plots belonging to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) in Visakhapatnam. The first phase of the e-auction generated ₹366.33 crore, with the highest price exceeding ₹1.80 lakh per square yard.

Department of Revenue joins Special Campaign 6.0 for cleanliness and efficiency

The Ministry of Finance announced on 9 October 2026 that the Department of Revenue and its subordinate offices are participating in Special Campaign 6.0. This initiative, led by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, aims to institutionalise Swachhata (cleanliness) and ensure the effective disposal of pending references.
