UPSC announces written results for Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2026

The Union Public Service Commission announced on 19 October 2026 that 8,956 candidates have qualified for interviews by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. These candidates are eligible for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy.

UPSC recommends candidates for Combined Geo-Scientist posts 2026

The Union Public Service Commission announced on 16 October 2026 the merit lists of candidates recommended for appointment to various Group 'A' and Group 'B' geo-scientist posts. These recommendations follow a three-stage process consisting of a preliminary exam in February, a main exam in June, and personality tests in September 2026.
