Vice-President visits Sainya Sampark Mela for veterans' welfare in Jharkhand

The Vice President's Secretariat announced on 10 October 2026 that Vice-President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the Sainya Sampark Mela – Sadaiv Aapke Saath in Deoghar, Jharkhand. Organised by the Indian Army and Deoghar District Administration, the event provided a single-window platform for pension assistance, medical facilities, and grievance redressal for ex-servicemen and Veer Naris in the Santhal Pargana region.
