Government launches 'Khet Bachao Abhiyan' to promote sustainable farming

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare announced on 21 October 2026 the launch of the nationwide ‘Khet Bachao Abhiyan- Rabi 2026’ campaign. Running from 22 October to 30 November 2026, the initiative aims to educate farmers on balanced fertilizer use, soil health, and crop diversification.

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports launches second month of anti-addiction campaign

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced on 17 October 2026 that it has launched the second month of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat 100 Week Sankalp Abhiyan. This phase, themed “Fit Youth, Addiction-Free Youth (Shakti evam Seva),” began with the nationwide observance of Yoga and Self-Defence Day on 16 October 2026.
