The Ministry of Development of North-East Region announced on 11 October 2026 that Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia will visit Mizoram on 12 and 13 October 2026. During the visit, the Minister will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for 10 projects in Tuivamit and interact with students at Mizoram University. He will also deliver the keynote address at the North East Bankers’ Conclave 3.0 to discuss financial inclusion and economic growth in the region.
