The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare announced on 28 October 2026 that it is organising the ‘Khet Bachao Abhiyan–Rabi 2026’ nationwide from 22 October to 30 November 2026. The campaign uses a 'Lab to Land' approach where scientists visit fields to provide farmers with direct information on modern agricultural technologies, government schemes, and sustainable practices. In Delhi, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Ujwa, is conducting these programmes across 25 selected locations in the South-West, North-West, and North districts. The initiative aims to improve rabi crop productivity through balanced fertiliser use and soil health conservation.
