Indian travellers can now use UPI for online bookings at Burj Khalifa and Resorts World Sentosa

The Ministry of Finance announced on 30 October 2026 that Indian visitors to the UAE and Singapore can now use Unified Payments Interface (UPI) apps for online bookings. This allows payments for experiences at At the Top, Burj Khalifa in the UAE, and Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, including Universal Studios Singapore, the Singapore Oceanarium, and Adventure Cove Waterpark. The release does not say when it takes effect, though it notes partnerships were announced in July and September 2026. This integration aims to provide a secure and familiar payment tool for Indian travellers.
